It is seen that Indian’s tend to save more and send back money home. This year the inflow is expected to be around 70 billion USD compared to 64 billion USD last year.
In this post I have mentioned a few ways to send money to India from Europe. Most of the services mentioned below are web based services.
I got a press release from ICICI Bank’s PR agency sometime back. ICICI bank has a platform – Money2India.eu through which Indians living in Europe can send across money back home.
In the press release they quoted “This service offers an assured exchange rate and faster transfer time for users who wish to send money to India.”
Money2India.eu is a web-based online money transfer tracking platform which facilitates tracking of money transfers from 17 Eurozone countries to beneficiaries in India.
Another service is by Times of Money. One can transfer money through their service Remit2India.
