Day 4 – Save money wherever it is possible
Rupee saved is a rupee earned.
One life live like a king.
These are contradictory quotes and we struggle and get confused between these two. It’s very important to spend money wherever it is necessary. One should spend wisely. Even kings used to spend money wisely, they did practice budgeting.
So today you will have to figure out where all you can save your money.
There are various ways to save money. Here are a few basic once I thought to share –
Check for deals and discounts online before making a purchase. Various websites offer a different rate for the same product. Try buy from the cheapest place possible.
Save money on electricity. Stitch off the lights and other electronic devices when not in use. You can replace your normal bulbs with LED once they save on electricity cost.
Avoid multiple credit cards. A lot of people tend to spend more when they use more than one credit card and this results in overspending due to leverage offered. Best thing would be to not use credit cards.
Stop buying things that are not necessary. Evaluate before you buy anything.
Make a list before you go shopping, by doing this you can avoid impulsive purchase.
Carpool or take public transport to save some money.
So today try to evaluate things where you can save some money. 2% to 3% saved monthly will result in huge number at the end of the year.
